The Salaro -Casa del Sal lies on the hillside of the Sečovlje Salinas Nature Park, where active salt making is still taking place and just 4 km from the Mediterranean town Piran with medieval architecture and rich culture heritage and 2 km from Croatian Istria. The house Salaro -Casa del Sal was the home of the Salina workers from the 19-th century. Today it offer the visitors accommodation and the same time pamper them with traditional Istrian and Mediterranean dishes by the visitors wish, prepared from the vegetables and fruit grown at the house and served with a glass of homemade wine.
