The Zdolsek homestead was built in 1824. In front of the homestead there is a huge garden, a fruit orchard and a gaily colored beehive attracting attention of every visitor. Nature-lovers might want to pick mushrooms and medicinal herbs or perhaps go fishing. Particularly interesting activities are available to children, who can learn about life on the farm and witness the making of domestic arts and crafts in neighbouring homes. How to get there
From the airport Brnik (149 km), take direction Ljubljana on motorway A2, then in Ljubljana take direction Maribor on motorway A1. At Celje take the way out and continue to Laško, Zidani most, Radeče on the Rout 5. Pass Radeče and turn right on the Rout 738 toward Tržišče, Brunk, Hotemaže. Continue on Šentjanž, turn right on Hinje, continue on Podboršt and Veliki Cirnik, turn right on Roženberk, turn right on Vrh. At Šentrupert turn left on Škrljevo, then left on Ravnik and left on Okrog at Zdolšek.
