In the center of charming village Podkoren by the headwaters of a river Sava there is a Hotel Vitranc. It has long tradition since between both wars. Hotel can offer 15 rooms, for maximum 36 persons in comfortable rooms, those on south side have stunning view at one of the toughest polygons for world ski cup competition in slalom and giant slalom for men.

How to get there
Podkoren is a village on sharp north-west of Slovenia, just by the border with Italy and Autria. It has position between Karavanke alps on the north side and Julijske Alpe on south side. If you turn east the first town is Kranjska Gora just few kilometers away, and Planica the biggest ski-jump on the world in walking distrance on the west.
