The Salaro -Casa del Sal lies on the hillside of the SečovljeSalinasNaturePark, where active salt making is still taking place and just 4 km from the Mediterranean town Piran with medieval architecture and rich culture heritage and 2 km from Croatian Istria. The house Salaro -Casa del Sal was the home of the Salina workers from the 19-th century. Today it offer the visitors accommodation and the same time pamper them with traditional Istrian and Mediterranean dishes by the visitors wish, prepared from the vegetables and fruit grown at the house and served with a glass of homemade wine.

	How to get there

Koper – Parecag, Casa del Sal
Take the highway to Koper. Follow the directions for Portorož and Sečovlje afterwards. The salt-pans are near Seča and Sečovelj on your right; the sign for the house is on the left.

Portorož – Parecag, Casa del Sal
IFrom Portorož you continue on the coastal road (Portorož - Buje - Pula). After 4 km, past Portorož and 2 km before Sečovlje, you will see Casa del Sal on you left.

Guests can spend their time in the living room, the spacious dining room or the garden overlooking the salt-pans. There is also private parking in the shade available for our guests.
